Well folks, buckle up because we're diving headfirst into the captivating world of copyrights and public domains! Now, I know what you're thinking: "Is The Sound of Music frolicking freely in the public domain?" Sadly, my friends, the hills are not alive with the sound of public domain. This beloved musical is still very much protected under copyright laws. So, if you were dreaming of staging your own version in the backyard, you might have to hit the pause button on that one. Until then, we'll just have to keep enjoying Julie Andrews' beautiful voice on repeat, the way it was intended!
